COMMITTEE WORK: COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE or CDAC (September 19, 2022)

The Grey Highlands Community Development Advisory Committee--or CDAC--is provincially required committee of council that was created in 2019 to advise on items like recreation, community programming, recreational activities, facilities, and general community development within the municipality. 

CDAC Highlights

Recreation Master Plan--There is an upcoming public information session on October 4 at the Flesherton Kinplex at 6PM for a session on the Grey Highlands Recreation Master Plan. Questions may be submitted in advance to facilities@greyhighlands.ca. Visit greyhighlands.ca/rec_masterplan/.

Community Grant Progra --The next intake for the grant program is now quarterly.

Short Term Accomodation (STA) Survey --A survey was done on STA (due Sept 15).

NOTE: The next Community Development Advisory Committee meeting will be decided by the new term of Council.
