WHERE GH WORLD WIDE WEBS: greyhighlands.ca
Updated: Sep 7, 2022
This blog post is part of my series, Civic Citizens Series on Communication. It aims to help Grey Highlands residents communicate better with our municipality.
This blog series, Civic Citizen Series: Communications has two parts.
Part One: Grey Highlands Speaks to you
Part Two: You Speak to your Municipality
Connect Grey Highlands (Staff)
Complaints and Service Requests: Complaints Form or Service Requests Form (Staff)
Presenting to Council: Delegation (Council) or Open Forum (Council)
This posts discusses the website greyhighlands.ca.
The greyhighlands.ca main page changes frequently. It hosts links to the most accessed and relevant information, for example, in the Spring it might display a seasonally-relevant link to the Burn Permit page or perhaps a link to information regarding Spring load restriction.
Why is there a big black box where a screen shot used to be? Well, that is because we are in an election cycle and, as a candidate I cannot use the Grey Highlands logo or other identifiable images (I.E screen shots of the website). It is, what it is, and the screen shots will be back after Oct 24!
There is a lot to explore at greyhighland.ca including the following:
In the News
Council and Committee Meetings
Grey Highlands Newsletter

Council Highlights
Council Highlights is a summary of the meeting’s events in bullet form.

From the website’s main page, scroll down until you see a horizontal grey box. The first section of this grey area is called Council and Committee Meetings. Click here to go to the Grey Highlands Portal, which is really just a fancy name for the place where Grey Highlands stores all of its public documents.
